Terms and conditions
Last updated: 2026-10-12
These terms govern sales in the arturlab online shop at arturlab.pl. The seller is Olha Pliushchevska, trading under the firm name “Olha Pliushchevska”, entered in the Polish Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (CEIDG), address: ul. Szafirowa 5/53, 20-573 Lublin, Polska, NIP 7123483229, REGON 529951349, BDO register number 000746260.
1. General
The shop sells decorative 3D printed lamps, configured by the buyer and manufactured after the order has been paid for.
Contact: email kontakt@arturlab.pl, tel. +48 532 659 271 (Mon–Fri 10:00–18:00). Written correspondence goes to the address given in the introduction.
A device with internet access and a current browser is all that is required. No account is needed.
2. Definitions
- Seller — the entity named in the introduction.
- Buyer — the person placing an order.
- Consumer — a Buyer who is a natural person acquiring the Product for purposes not directly related to their business or profession.
- Entrepreneur with consumer rights — a natural person concluding a contract with the Seller directly related to their business activity, where the contract is not of a professional character for that person, in particular judging by the subject of their business activity as published in CEIDG (art. 7aa of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).
- Product — a lamp offered in the shop, in the configuration chosen by the Buyer.
- Configurator — the tool on the product page where the Buyer chooses the shape, pattern, material and colour of each part.
- Personalisation — applying content specified by the Buyer to the Product, that is a name or text.
- Order — the Buyer’s declaration leading to a contract of sale.
Provisions concerning a Consumer apply accordingly to an Entrepreneur with consumer rights, to the extent following from art. 7aa of the Consumer Rights Act.
3. Placing an order and concluding the contract
- The Buyer configures a Product, adds it to the basket and proceeds to payment.
- Prices and the contents of the basket are calculated by the Seller each time; the Buyer sees the final price before paying.
- Placing an order constitutes an offer to conclude a contract of sale.
- The contract is concluded when the Seller sends the Buyer an email confirming that the order has been accepted for fulfilment.
- Fulfilment begins once payment has been received. Until then the order awaits payment.
- Confirmation of the concluded contract, with the contents of the order and the expected dispatch date, is sent to the Buyer’s email address — on a durable medium.
4. Prices and payment
All prices are in Polish złoty and are gross prices — they include VAT at the rate applicable to the Product.
Delivery costs are stated separately before the order is placed and shown in the summary.
Payments are handled by Stripe. The Seller neither processes nor stores card details; they are given directly to the payment provider.
A sales document is issued for every order. A Buyer who is a taxable person may provide invoice details before placing the order.
5. Fulfilment and delivery
Products are manufactured after payment. The exception is items marked on the site as “Ready to ship” — they are already made and we send them without waiting for printing. The expected dispatch date is shown on the product page and in the order confirmation.
If the chosen colour or material has to be restocked, the lead time is longer; that is shown next to the option, before payment.
Delivery is within the territory of Poland. Delivery methods and costs are presented before the order is placed.
Because of 3D printing technology and the properties of the materials used, individual items may show slight differences in shade, surface texture or layer visibility that are typical of the technology and affect neither the function nor the essential appearance of the Product.
6. Right of withdrawal
A Consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of taking possession of the Product. Sending the declaration before that period ends is sufficient.
The declaration may be made in any form, in particular by email to kontakt@arturlab.pl. A model declaration and the procedure are on the “Returns” page.
The Consumer returns the Product without delay and no later than 14 days from the day of withdrawal. The direct cost of returning the Product is borne by the Consumer.
The Seller refunds the payments received, including the cost of the cheapest ordinary delivery method offered by the Seller, no later than 14 days from receiving the declaration of withdrawal, using the same payment method the Consumer used, unless the Consumer has expressly agreed to another method.
The Seller may withhold the refund until the Product has been received back, or until the Consumer has supplied proof of having sent it back, whichever happens first.
The Consumer is liable for any diminished value of the Product resulting from handling it beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to a contract for non-prefabricated goods made to the Consumer’s specification or serving their individualised needs (art. 38(1)(3) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). The Seller applies this exception only to orders with Personalisation — that is, with a name or text specified by the Buyer.
Configuring a Product — choosing the shape, pattern, material and colour from the options offered by the Seller — does not remove the right of withdrawal. Where there is doubt, the Seller accepts the return.
Before placing an order for a Product with Personalisation the Buyer is expressly informed that no right of withdrawal applies to such a Product, and is asked to confirm having been told.
7. Conformity with the contract and complaints
The Seller is liable for a lack of conformity of the Product with the contract under the Polish Consumer Rights Act. Liability covers a lack of conformity existing at delivery and revealed within two years of it.
A complaint may be made by email to kontakt@arturlab.pl or in writing to the Seller’s address. Please quote the order number and describe the problem.
The Seller will answer a complaint within 14 days of receiving it. A failure to answer within that period means the complaint is deemed accepted.
The answer is provided on paper or another durable medium, in particular by email.
The Buyer may first request repair or replacement; in the cases provided for by the Act — a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract.
The Product is powered from an external USB 5 V source. Damage caused by connecting it to a source with different parameters, or by use contrary to the instructions, is not a lack of conformity.
8. Out-of-court dispute resolution
A Consumer may use out-of-court means of handling complaints and pursuing claims, in particular the assistance of a district or municipal consumer ombudsman and proceedings before the provincial trade inspection authority.
Information on out-of-court dispute resolution is available from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. The Seller considers taking part in such proceedings in relation to the particular dispute and states its position in the answer to the complaint.
9. Personal data
The Seller is the controller of Buyers’ personal data. The scope, purposes and legal bases of processing, and the rights of data subjects, are described in the Privacy policy.
10. Final provisions
Matters not covered by these terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.
The Seller may amend these terms for legal or organisational reasons. Orders placed before an amendment are governed by the terms in force when the order was placed.
Nothing in these terms limits a Consumer’s rights under mandatory provisions of law.
